Every year in summer the Romanesque cloisters become the setting for the Cloister Plays. The romantic backdrop of the cloisters in the evening in front of the grandiose panorama of the collegiate church turns the peace of the monastery into the excitement of the theatre. A real experience - since 1948.

One of the most important museums of folk art in Southern Germany: on display are artistically decorated household goods, glass, pewter, costumes and religious art, as well a rare faïence collection. The six Craftsmen's Rooms in the west wing, which have been preserved in their original state, are an extension of the museum.

Centre of documentation and research for German choristry and unique in Germany. Among the items chosen for display are valuable banners, cups and medals, together with manuscripts and printed documents.
